Oatmeal cookies offer a tasty treat for those who enjoy good snacks, but Mama Char’s oatmeal raisin cookies can rock your taste buds into a new world.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ cup flour
- 3 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
- Wash raisins in warm water
- Cream butter & sugar, add eggs one at a time and beat
- Add vanilla
- Add Oatmeal 1 cup at a time
- Mix dry ingredients and add to egg mixture
- Add raisins and blend
- Chill in fridge
- Place dough on cookie sheet in small balls and bake 10 min @350 degrees
